Falconridge Community Association
The Falconridge/Castleridge community association serves the residents of Falconridge as well as Castleridge. This community association is one of the most active communities, not only in NE Calgary, but in entire Calgary. A unique feature of this association is that works on the Carver Model of Governance. Residents of Falconridge can avail different social services, like counseling, parent support, immigration services, baby clinics, financial support, and many others at the North of McKnight community resource centre, which is part of Falconridge/Castleridge community association. Several programs for local teens are run by the centre, such river raft racing, Karate and Kumon, and dance. Boy Scouts and Girl Guides are much popular among the young population, and so is the Boys and Girls Club of Calgary, where teens can enjoy a game of pool and foosball, among other things.
If you like to live in a place with lots of green space, you would absolutely love Falconridge. Residents can enjoy many natural amenities in the nearby Prairie Winds Park. It is a perfect place for leisure walks, relaxation, and jogging. The outdoor pool is extremely popular among residents during summer months.
